Enrollment
West High School serves students in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.
Students who are zoned for West and attended a Knox County middle school for 8th grade are automatically enrolled.
Enrollment hours for students who are new to the district are from 8:00AM until 3:00PM on full school days. During summer months, hours are Wednesdays only from 9:00AM - 12:00PM. Enrollment must be completed in person by a parent or legal guardian.
Knox County Schools assigns students to schools based on the address of the family's primary residence. Students who are zoned for West High School and attended a Knox County middle school for 8th grade are automatically enrolled.
Enrollment / Transfers
School transfers may be requested if a family wishes for their student to attend a school different from their zoned school. To apply for a transfer, visit the KCS Transfer Page.
